About Dhamupur Village

This village is counted one of the most historical villages of India  because of National hero of India Army Veer Abdul Hameed who sacrifices during 1965 India –pakistan war held after demolishing the Pakistani tanks. Company Quartermaster Havildar Abdul Hamid of 4 Grenadiers as India remembered his bravery in the battle of Asal Uttar, one of the largest tank battles fought during the 1965 India-Pakistan war. Hamid laid down his life fighting Pakistani tanks on 10 September 1965, and was awarded the Param Vir Chakra, India’s highest gallantry award.

A brief about Swawlamban  Lab

Grameen Vikas Sansthan has brainstormed with the experts to evolve a destination in ghazipur where youth of Ghazipur can develop their vocational skills and employability status through intensive technical training facilities in Dhamu Pur. 300 youths will be developed as skilled in different vocational and job orienting trades each year through this centre. This is a full digital venue for the students where they are attending the classes on the screen with audio and required graphics. This is developed as a user friendly centre to provide an abled environment for the learners

                       Various Training stages

Training of the selected candidates are carried out after proper induction. The induction  will enable honest dialogue among trainees and instructors. An ethical code of conduct would be  built by candidates themselves. Team building exercises  is also conducted in an informal environment increases self-confidence among trainees. In addition, the self-monitoring processes  initiated aiming at their individual development.

 Soft skills:

 Life skills is  aiming at preparing the candidates better and confident individuals. Around 80 hrs will be  devoted on this component. Inputs will be  provided on personality development and grooming, behavioral changes, spoken english, computer exposure, time and money management etc.

 Technical skills:

There is plan to adopt Participative training methods to provide technical skills. The centre is working towards it. Training is focused  on theoretical inputs and practical sessions. Candidates will also be  provided hands on experience. In addition, regular assignments and tests are planned to be  conducted.

This Course includes training the students about basic knowledge of Architecture of Computer, Fault finding Techniques, Error detection &correction, assembly, deassembly, installation, formatting, control panel settings, Hardware devices maintenance, Basics of Networking in Windows Environment
 
3 Months Inter  After successful completion of this course, the student can work as hardware maintenance personnel and entrepreneur. He/She can secure jobat private places like MSCIT Training Institution, Banks & Colleges for installation & maintenance of hardware, He/She can work as system administrator.
2 Handset Repair Engineer (Level II) 3 Months Inter  • Individual in this role is responsible for performing handset repair including hardware and software components and testing the handset for adequacy post repair. 
• Key Activities-
o Perform handset repair- hardware
o Perform handset repair- software
Perform tablet repair- hardware & software. After the training they can start their own firm and enterprises.
3 Need Based Other Vocational  Cources 3 Months Inter  Need Based other Course eg Call centre executive  etc,.
